Suddenlink Communications -- Congratulations. You just managed to make it onto my *hit list, a move that is as foolish as it is near-permanent. Ive been watching Comedy Central since I was 11 years old, and whether it is a Viacom channel or not, neither you nor anyone else is going to stop me from watching it one way or another. Ill give you a MORE THAN GENEROUS grace period to pull your head out of your butt and get your stuff together, because Im a forgiving person like that. You have until December 31st, 2014 / January 1st, 2015 to get this problem solved. If you dont hammer out a deal with Viacom in the next 3 months, you will most definitely lose this cable customer and DISH Network will pick up a new one real soon. Lord knows I already detest you beyond words Suddenlink, for your constant onslaught of shameless, stupid, self-serving ads, one right after another, on every channel, about how great you are. Constantly tooting your own horn is a big turn-off for me. (Exactly who is it that youre trying to convince with those anyway? Me or you?) You people worked out a deal with the people at the AMC channel a while back, and you should be grateful that you did, otherwise lots of The Walking Dead fans would have walked away FROM YOU back then. Now, figure out something with the Viacom people over the issue of Comedy Central, because South Park is a nightly ritual for me, and like many millions of other viewers, I Get My News From Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Youll see soon enough that this move youve made is going to make so many enemies for you, you wont be able to afford to not make a deal. You may very well have just cut your own throat. I imagine its going to be hard for you to make your company payroll payments (and a profit, too) when 20% to 30% of your customers drop you like a bad habit. And the ones that *do* stick around wont being doing that for very long, not after you eventually raise *their* rates to compensate for the people that will have already jumped off your little sinking ship. Bottom line, you are a content provider.......now, do your freakin job. Do what people are paying you for -- provide them with the content *they* want, not the content *you* choose. Its not your call to block channels or otherwise prevent paying customers from seeing what they want to watch. You start down that road, what amounts to third-party censorship, and youll see how easy it is for people to cut your cord and shop around for another provider. Somebodys head is going to be on a platter during your next stockholders meeting. #suddenlink #suddenlinksucks #bringbackviacom And, oh yeah, Suddenlink, this is ALL you right here. ----> https://youtube/watch?v=HAo5GgaJmsA
