Sulphur Mtn. GT maps says this is a 10 mile RT hike with 4200 gain. But Jim has checked 2 sources that put this at 4700 gain (lower trailhead elevation and higher lookout site). Even if its 4200 gain, this was a big trip for me in my current state of non-condition. Great time today; though as usual with this particular trip, poor Jim sticks with me to encourage me when I want to just quit.
