Summer Movie Marathon #8 featuring its 1st Film Series... "Resident Evil" Wow... I have been wanting to watch this series for some years now but never committed since there are like 5? with the 6th to be released in 2014? Well... I finally tracked them all down, and at a Blockbuster believe it or not!! And I am so glad I did. This series is off to a pretty good start... This 1st one tells a good background story that had me following along and caught me off guard in the end. Milla Jovovich is bad ass! I love how she realizes she has been trained and knows alot more then her memory allows. Michelle Rodriguez is a babe as usual, and the zombies were awesome of course. I will say that the "Red Queen" was creepy as hell and the Hive seemed pretty damn terrifying. I give part 1 of this film 7 out of 10 STARS. imdb/title/tt0120804/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
