Summertime supper. Biscuits and Mater gravy for 2. I use bisquick. 1 and 1/8 cup with 1/3 cup of milk. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and mix with a fork. Add 1 tsp oil and kneed 4 times in the bowl. Roll out golf ball size chunks and place them in cast iron skillet. Once in the skillet cut on oven and pre-heat to 450. Allow biscuits to rise during pre-heat. For mater gravy. Brown 1 tbsp flour in 1 tbsp bacon grease. Add generous black pepper. Add 1 finely diced fresh tomato, 1 cup high pulp tomato juice, and 1 cup of water. Bring to simmer until thickened. Bake biscuits 10-12 minutes until brown. Cover with gravy and munch.
