This phrase is a reminder to those of us involved in Junkanoo to also embrace the true meaning of Christmas and of the many sacrifices we make this time of year, to support Junkanoo. To the families of ‘the Valley’ who have lost love ones over the past year and past few years, we Thank You for their sacrifice and we want you to know that you are always in our prayers. The Valley Boys In conjunction with: Baha Mar, Rubis, Boomer Trucking & Bamboo Shack Presents: A Glorious Celebration of Christmas – A Christmas Story It is only fitting by presenting this theme, ‘A ‘Glorious Celebration of Christmas’ - ‘A Christmas Story, this Boxing Day that the Valley Boys also use this occasion to remember our late founding leader Mr. Winston ‘Gus’ Cooper, the ‘Father of Modern Day Junkanoo’ and Junkanoo Legend and all the other past and present Legends of the Valley who have performed on Bay Street each Christmas in the Boxing Day and New Year’s Day parades, for over 57 years!!!
