They managed to keep it professional, but it was clear, take after take, that things were only getting worse between them until one day, Stephen didn’t show up to the set. Abrams announced in an interview, that Ford had exercised his prerogative to dismiss him. The trade journal Variety reported, “Han Fired Furst.”
