Sunday Night Update: We have been into this journey for 26 days. In some ways it has gone quickly and in other ways it has been the longest days of my life. Drew had a good weekend and has started the process of healing. We are so thankful for the responses he is able to share now and we know it will keep getting better. There are so many people that love and support Drew. He will always know that he is loved dearly. All of our updates are about Drew. Tonight, I want to change the direction for just a few minutes . . . I want to tell you about what a blessing it has been to have Dillan right here through all of this time. Dillan has been a huge support for the family from the very beginning. He was at the hospital that first night when the rest of us could not be there. As David and I traveled through the night, Dillan kept us updated on what was happening with Drew at Erlanger. I know that must have been very hard. He has been there to support me when I could barely think straight. He was always close by during the nights when it was so hard to sleep. He is finishing up work that Drew had started and did not get to complete. I could go on and on about the amazing things he has done for Drew and the entire family. Dillan, thanks for putting your life on hold for the last 26 days. You have been strong and loving. Drew is lucky to have such a loyal brother! You are about ready to start your senior year, and I know you will do great! Thank you for your continued prayers. Tomorrow starts another day of therapy. Tuesday is the day the doctors will meet with us to share their opinions and evaluations of Drew. Things are going well, so we are hoping to hear good news!
