Sunday afternoon UPDATE on Benson: There WAS a sighting last night that was just reported. He was seen at Harbor and 19th Street in Costa Mesa. The caller stated that Benson is starting to approach people which is a good indicator that he is becoming more desperate and in need. However, please do not try and catch. The public needs to understand that if they dont have the right energy or skills to catch Benson he may bite, due to stress. If he does bite, please know - he will immediately be quarantined and possibly put down, per the shelter regulations. We ask that the public not create a situation where human error would cost him his life. If anyone local would like to help with flyers in CM or be on the street tonight, as another pair of eyes... inbox me and I will give you the details of what time I will be down there.
