Sunday rant. Most of you will never burn a pasture, those of you that do, you understand. Left Little River to see smoke near my Buddys house, the field we were going to burn. Got there, OMG! A Guy with no knowledge of burning and 5-6 teenagers he asked to help him. Did I mention the LR Fire Dept had already been called out?? No backup! He was more worried about his pond trees, than the two neighbors houses. Asked me to mow around his pond. REALLY? NO! Put out what I thought was a threat to my Buddy with my boots. The boys were happy with some guidance and we got the hell out of there once I felt both houses were safe. This is exactly the conversation that Russell Stephenson and I had last week.
