Owen, age 67, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2014 in Wildersville. He is survived by his wife, Rita Owen of Wildersville; 2 brothers, Bernice Owen (Beth) of Bartlett, TN and Jesse Owen of Columbus, GA; 3 sisters, Donna Campbell (Dennis) of Houston, MO, Marsha Johnson (Al) of Millington, TN, and Denise Owen of Jackson, TN; 1 sister in law, Darla Olive; 4 nieces; 9 nephews; and 16 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Flora Owen; and 1 brother in law, Bobby Olive. Funeral services will be on Monday, January 26 at 2PM at Reed’s Chapel in Lexington with burial to follow in Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3PM-9PM and Monday from 12PM till service. LHS NOTE: Wife, Rita Olive Owen ,graduated LHS in 1965 and deceased brother-in-law, Bobby Olive, graduated in 1961. CHASE FUNERAL HOME, HUNTINGDON Obituaries Paula Maurine Cary (December 13, 1946 - January 24, 2015) Mrs. Paula Maurine Cary, 68 of Yuma, Tennessee passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Bro. Michael Butler will officiate the service. The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 8:00 AM until service time. Mrs. Cary was born December 13, 1946 in Bakersfield, California to the late Paul and Maurine Karnes. She was a retired administrative worker for the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon and was a member of the Wasco Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Richard Karnes.She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Barry Cary, two daughters, Marti Anderson (husband Wally) of Clarksburg, Amy Horn (husband Tim) of Cedar Grove, and one son, Shan Cary (wife Sharon) of Wildersville. She also leaves six grandchildren, Brent, Richard, Scott, Morgan, Walker and Jesse. REEDS CHAPEL, SCOTTS HILL Obituary for Bobby Joe Moore Bobby Joe Moore, 74, of Scotts Hill, TN passed away Saturday, January 24th, at Lexington Manor. He was the widower of Doris Jeanette Moore. Bobby is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Billy) Maners, of Scotts Hill, TN; a son,Carl Proctor, of Arlington, TN; by 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. His Funeral Service will be at Reeds Chapel , Scotts Hill, TN, at 1 PM on Monday, January 26th, with Bro. Denny Broadway and Bro. Tommy Crocker officiating. PAFFORD, LEXINGTON Obituary for Mrs. Daltha Douglass Miller Funeral services for Mrs. Daltha Douglass Miller, age 88, are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, January 25, 2015 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Mark McCaslin and Bro. Terry Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in Sand Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. Miller passed away late Thursday in Lexington. She was born November 21, 1926 in Rock Springs, Tennessee to the late Joseph Simpson Douglass and Mae Bell Foutch Douglass. She was a retired employee of Johnson Controls and a member of Rock Springs Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Miller; two brothers, Herman and Charles Douglass; and one sister, Mertle Douglass. Survivors include her three daughters, Linda (Richard) Douglas of Lexington, Carol Joyner of Cedar Grove, and Mary Jo (Evert) Maness of Wildersville; one sister, Frances Reed of Westport; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. PAFFORD, SCOTTS HILL Obituary for Lori Curtis Funeral services for Mrs. Lori Curtis, age 41, are scheduled for 4:30 PM, Sunday, January 25, 2015 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill with Bro. David Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Cemetery. Mrs. Curtis passed away Wednesday. She was born March 10, 1973 in Jackson to the late Wallace Sanford Elliott III and Patricia Ann Allen Elliott. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Eddie Curtis of Sardis; three sons, Dakota Glidwell, Dylan Glidwell, and David Curtis; two daughters, Hope and Candice Curtis; one sister, Diana Leigh (Junior)Sellers; two nephews, Floyd and Joshua Sellers and mother-in-law, Cathy Russell.
