Sunday was by far and away the most exciting sporting event I have ever attended. Ive been to the Super Bowl, World Series, and Stanley Cup Final, but nothing compares to the excitement Sunday brought. No other sport provides the kind of access that NASCAR does. Being inches away from the action was incredible. I was lucky enough to get to walk the garages, watch the teams setup, tour the transporter, visit Brian Vickers in the drivers motorhome lot, meet my favorite driver, Clint Bowyer, watch the race from on top of the 15 team’s pit box, and experience other things that will remain with me forever. I want to send a special thank you to everyone at Michael Waltrip Racing, especially Wes Evens. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome and feel like part of the team. For a life-long NASCAR fan, this was an experience that can never be duplicated. I will treasure it for the rest of my life.
