I am half-Ifugao half-Scottish, I was born in Baguio and I resided there for 15 years. I was also taken care of by my Lola Pacita in Kiangan,Ifugao. I am a proud Igorota/Cordilleran by heart so instead of representing a province... a town... I chose to represent the whole Cordillera Administrative Region. My main purpose for joining this prestigious pageant is to showcase how wise, beautiful and humble the people of the mountains are. I am a modern Igorota, but despite modernization, I have so much respect for my ancestors, for my people and I am greatly fascinated by our culture and tradition. Wherever we may be, no matter where we come from, being an Igorot is more than blood, for me its something deeper, it is being respectful of other peoples beliefs and being one with our own, growing and learning yet always remembering our roots.
