Support Worker Exceptional Support Worker required to assist our young client with Cerebral Palsy Pay rate £8.07 to £10.93 per hour - Monday to Friday 15:30 to 19:30 with flexibility during school holidays Interserve Healthcare - Nottingham are looking for Support Workers who are committed and dedicated to work with our client, a 5 year old girl and her therapists, to implement her rehabilitation programme. This lovely little girl has Cerebral Palsy, she is able to mobilise using a Kay walker, has a standing frame and also has a wheelchair. She communicates by crying and pointing and has a speech & language therapist, she also has a hearing impairment. This little girl requires lots of encouragement to walk and our Support Worker will be following a Physiotherapy programme, for which the Physiotherapists will provide training. Along with support for her rehabilitation, you will also be providing personal care to our client. Standard hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 15:30 to 19:30 however some flexibility is required from you to cover extra hours during school holiday times. Due to the location of our client you will need to be a car driver. If you have previous experience of working with children who have Cerebral Palsy, working with therapist teams implementing rehabilitation programmes, are a patient but strong communicator and are able to commit to an on-going package of care, contact us NOW!
