Supreme Court of India rejects the Review Plea of AICTE and upheld its stand that the MBA is not a Technical Programme and does not come under AICTE purview. Supreme Court Said and I quote "As per the definition of technical education under the section of 2(g) of the AICTE we hold that MBA course is not a technical course" A landmark judgment and full stop to the debate. I do not know about the implications of the judgement and whether it is good or bad. But I am certainly very happy about the fact that finally Supreme court stamped and recognized that MBA is not a Technical Programme. I again say MBA is about Management and not Maintenance and hence we do not make machines it all about making students aware about his/ her potential.
