Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Psalms 23:6 kjv Have you ever had a string of bad luck where one problem follows another? David’s situation here is just the opposite as he enjoys sweet fellowship with the LORD. His cup is overflowing, as one blessing follows another so that he concludes, “surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.” This was true of David, and it will be the same with us as we surrender to the will of God and walk in fellowship with Him; Blessings now, and eternal life to follow.
