Surgery update: Both knees completed, and all went well! Emilie is now in recovery with epidural in place for pain control. Prior to going to OR she was a bit anxious but only shed a few tears. I poked one of her knees which reminded her why she was here. She took a swing at me, at which point 2 mg of Versed was administered for me to regain control. Seriously, we so much appreciate the prayers and support which provide confidence and comfort..we both know this from experience. Our orthopedist, Jeff Albert MD, anaethesiologists JimVelemesis MD and Frank Storniolo MD,and the North Fulton staff have been outstanding. We are blessed to have such great friends,family, and facility for care.
