***Sweatshop Monthly Prize Winner - August 2014*** I have a feeling that this months winner... will be a popular choice! Never have I met someone with so much confidence, enthusiasm and overwhelming parkrun spirit. Add the fact that he is 10 years old to the equation and Im sure you are as in awe of this person, as I am. He has completed a total of 11 parkruns, 10 of which were in Telford. Whats incredible about this person is that at such a young age, this cheeky chap has completely fallen in love with the whole parkrun concept and has volunteered on 55 occasions! Not content with just any volunteer role, he has filled the role of Run Director on two occasions (his third being this coming Saturday). This has included greeting volunteers as they arrive, showing them what their role entails, coordinating the equipment setup, delivering a safety brief, overseeing the run itself and processing the results! I think this proves that whether old or young... anyone can inspire others! :-) It is an absolute pleasure to have met this truly inspirational young man and future Event Director (or so Im regularly told) and to be able to award the Sweatshop Monthly Prize for the month of August, to Nathan Green! Congratulations Nathan!
