Sweet cheese and crackers. Tonight for the first time all war, they shut off the Anus of Mordor. The deafening drone 24/7 fell silent at 10:00 pm and it was like the iron shod boot of hell was lifted off our heads. This is what the end of shelling may have been like at Ypres, or Verdunne. Im kind of curious at what this will cost me next year but for now, I will take it. I may actually sleep tonight. That stuff of dreams. The quiet serenity of the far off sounds of people talking and laughing, music, drums and night noises. Thanks Cindy Cooper for going to bat for us and dealing with the powers that be.
