Syama Priya Devi Dasi asked, I tried homeschooling my son in grade 2, 5, and 7. He has always said that he would rather be at public school with lots more kids (his little brother is 7 years younger). I put him in afterschool activities and religious camps, etc., but it is still not enough for him. He is going into grade 8 this year and he is on the waitlist for a democratic school [in British Columbia, Canada] that supports homeschooling. If he doesnt get in this year, does anyone have any suggestions for keeping him interested, motivated, and socially satisfied at home?
