TALK THE BIG TALK! 03.24.14 Talking the big talk is only vanity! It is the doing that matters! Not merely the big talk and the boasting! And His reward is with Him in His hand to reward all those who have actually done His will and not only talked the big talk about it! Many call Jesus “Lord, Lord!” But never obey Him, nor do they know Him! When I was doing missionary work in a community once a man named Lonnie, a man named “Lonnie” whom I did not even really know at all, except he would boast that he spoke in tongues thus making him a great one in others eyes in the local church that he one day appeared at even making his boasts there to the other members and then he was suddenly in charge of many things it suddenly seemed? (But I speak in other tongues as well!) And he sat me down one day away in a Sunday school room after our Saturday meeting in the local talking house’s basement about the things that should be done to help the local community; and he sat me down after the meeting in a small child’s Sunday school chair that was too small for me and he told me that he was taking over my ministry that I had founded on May 20th, 1987; and that now he was in charge of it and I was to answer to him from then on, but I told him “No!” and stood up and went to leave, which I did, while he was ordering me back to him by his command, and I left instead. I had answered to my superiors over the years and to ‘Bishops’ and to all in authority, even to the ones who abused me and those who nearly took my life away from me by their strange physical and constant demands on me and on my time and on my person. And now this man that I did not know, while I was working in the community and had the key to that very talking house for purposes of coming and going at will, even day and night, to pray and to have friends come and pray there as well… with me about matters pertaining to the community; so I left, prayed and returned with the church key and taking it over to the parsonage, said goodbye to the pastor of that local talking house, resigning my associations with that local talking house then. I was not of their denomination as a missionary anyway. I do always hear many people talking the big talk, even TV Evangelists who are rich and the like, but Jesus said that He will judge all and not those who talk the big talk will be rewarded by Him but those who actually do what He tells them to do will be rewarded by Him! All their boasting of their own greatness is not good! There are a lot of talking houses where people talk the big talk but they will not be rewarded for talking the big talk by Jesus, but only those who actually do what Jesus has told them to do will be rewarded by Him! Jesus told me this, and Jesus does not lie! But many who claim to be His make Him out as a liar! “And it is because of you that the gentiles blaspheme His holy name!” I officially founded my ministry on May 20th, 1987; but I was working for the Lord before then and since then as well. I have worked with and for others in His Vineyard as well, along the way and over the years, and as people retired or passed on to glory I continued on in the Lord! And there are those who want me to stop serving Jesus and have told me so many times, but I continue on faithfully serving Him anyway! They call those who serve the Lord Jesus and those who have overcome many trials and temptations to serve Jesus faithfully, “Rebels”! And the great big talkers tell the servers that they will be punished by the Lord Jesus for continuing to serve Him so faithfully through thick and thin, after the great big talkers and their big boastful proud swelling words have tried to hinder the Lord’s true servants and have even ordered them to stop serving Jesus! But those sheep who know His voice hear Him and continue to do only what Jesus tells them to do, and “a stranger they will not follow!” Amen!
