TAVARUA...chilling with a guy who is one of the greatest competition surfers that ever lived KELLY SLATER...yes I was stoked to talk guitar and surfing with him while chillin out on the island of Tavarua in Fiji. It was also awesome to see my old pal Jon Roseman who is kind of the owner director of the Island and of course all were thrilled to meet actor Adam Beach who was thrilled to be in paradise while working here with GiveCleanWater.org. I asked Kelly a question that I have always wanted to ask...How does a guy from Florida become a big wave surf champ...He said that he always could see himself on the big waves so when he got the chance it seamed natural...I then thought and said to him...I always pictured myself on stadium stages and when I got on one I felt I knew exactly what to do...We agreed that it was indeed the same thing...HOW COOL!...Off to Australia tomorrow
