TAYAMMUM [As Simple as it Sounds] As salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, Alhamdulillah, it’s another night when I am happy that I have finally completed my daily prayers. Last week was a blast, talking on the Performance of Ghusl. I do hope we used the URP system, because practicing it, is an essential step to assuring that our solat is valid. I am really eager to go to bed so I would like to just rush through to today’s topic. Pardon me, I forgot to introduce myself; I am Abu Ismail; the Rhythm on the Block, presenter of Inspired Words and probably the star of your Wednesdays. Join me as I’ll be taking you through this week’s topic; “Tayammum” Well, before venturing into that, I am reminded of when I had a discussion with my mum and I couldn’t help but talk about ‘Death’. She later called on me and said “One should not be talking of things like that. It is not good to call upon yourself, something no one wants for himself”. Everyone is aware that someday, they will no longer exist but still yet, we seem to be terrified by just the mere mention of it and do not want to hear anything about it.
