~TBT~ I would like to dedicate todays TBT to my beautiful daughter. Monday, August 11, 2014 was 3 years since she became My Angel that God let me keep Jade gave birth to my beautiful grandson, Branson on April 28, 2011, right after that she started randomly having sick spells, vomitting and feeling heaviness in her chest. For 4 months she was treated for acid reflux and indigestion. On August 11, 2011 she had a major attack and I knew from the horrible sounds that was coming from this girl that she was in some major pain, just 4 months before I stood by her side while she gave birth without a flinch or a whimper. I had to call the ambulance. Shawnee Valley arrived and we took her to Bedford hospital after packing up little Branson and sending him off in good hands to be taken care of until we got home. Little did we know that our trip to the hospital would end up being 20 nights and 21 days in Pittsburgh at UPMC...21 days that seemed like 21 years to a mother that could do nothing but pray and put all her faith in God that He was going to lay His healing hands on Jade and everything would be okay. Jade had gotten gallstones while she was pregnant and one had got lodged in her bowel duct which caused her to get severe acute pancreatitis. For 20 nights I camped out in waiting rooms, I have always been a praying person, but the 4 nights when Jade was on life support...I became a prayer warrior!! And had many other family members, friends, and even people we didnt know being prayer warriors right along with me! God was answering prayers right in front of my eyes...it was the most awesome thing Ive ever experienced! So, today I just want to give a shout out to Jade as a reminder of how truly blessed she has been. And also too everyone that was involved...those who prayed, looked after Branson, sent cards, sent other gifts, those who visited, Shawnee Valley and Raystown ambulance service, and all the doctors, nurses, and wonderful people that we met and became friends with during our stay. I wont list names for fear of leaving someone out...but you all know who you are! And know that your kindness will never be forgotten!! Cherish every day and every person in your life...because one day...God will need them back!!
