TBT from 2008...First and hopefully last time for surgery...Concern of the unknown and placing the trust of my life while I was completely out of this world, temporarily in the hands of another I had only met with a couple times, that would be slicing me open near my spinal cord and removing a broken off piece of a bone that was slowly severing the nerves controlling my leg...was plastered all over my face lol. Yall know I always say I only go to the doctors if Im broke or bleeding. Well, progressive paralysis in a matter of a couple weeks forced me to go seek medical attention...along with extreme pain-left me no choice...Had to bite the bullet. Give thanks my surgery was successful...in these pictures I was in extreme pain and could not wiggle the toes on my foot, basically dragging that leg...I emerged in recovery with the first thing I did when I was able to sit up was test my toes....boomya wiggle, wiggle, wiggled like new ;) Last photo is my youngest son, Miguel. He took this selfie as I was literally getting operated on so he could capture the feelings of how scared he was for me...ah, my boy...he does love me
