TEAM AIDEN UPDATE: Aiden is doing fantastic! He is still having a few bradys but nothing too bad. The echo results showed that his PDA (the hole in his heart) is gone for the most part so theyre just gonna keep an eye on it. The doctor also told us it may be closer to a week and a half before they start bottle feedings just because his apnea is so bad. Preemies have difficulty syncing drinking, breathing, and swallowing while eating and he already forgets to breathe enough as it is so they dont want to over stress him. But brad got to help me give him a bath and it was pretty entertaining. He had a major growth spurt and is now 3lbs 10oz, he gained 4oz in a day! So hes over 1600 grams so hes almost ready for an open crib. Im gonna be home until tuesday so Ill update you guys as best I can. Hope you all have a great night!
