TEAM ALBERTA – STELLAR PREFORMANCE AT WESTERN CHAMPIONSHIP Team AB returned from the 2014 Western Championships will an exceptional medal haul! This past weekend, more than 100 Alberta athletes, coaches and judges competed at Prairieland Park located in Saskatoon, SK. Despite fierce competition from the other Provinces, Team AB was able to win a total of 79 event/all around and Team medals. The AGF men’s team took home 2 gold and 1 silver in the Team events, 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze in the All Round categories and 7 gold , 13 silver and 8 bronze in the Event Finals. The women’s team was equally successful achieving 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze in the Team events, 11 gold, 10 Silver, 11 bronze in Event Finals, They also won 2 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze in the All Around finals. Well done Team AGF! AGF would like to congratulate the entire Team for representing Alberta in such a prestigious manner.
