TEAM EFFORT Dearest friends, although I only arrived in Cape Town on Saturday morning, it feels as though Ive been here for more than 2 weeks! Team effort got a new meaning yesterday morning, when my friends at Cape Dutch Quarters Tulbagh and De Oude Drostdy-Hof Wines managed to unpack and hang the 33 paintings in the magnificent Oude Drostdy in Tulbagh, in less than 2 hours! By now you know that I have been invited as the Drostdy Hof featured artist during the Tulbagh Arts Festival this weekend, but if you are unable to attend this weekend, you are more than welcome to visit it now or after, up to the 8th November. Although I have previously had fairy tale opportunities to show my work in spectacular venues such as the Karl Hover Museum, in Schloss Ettlingen, I think this is by far the most beautiful venue for my work.
