TERM 1 WEEK 7 SCHEDULE Monday 10 November 9.30: Rear Presentation Room Submission 1–Reinterpreting Architecture Part 1. Submission 2–Visionary Cities Student form. Submission 1 requirement: A3 1: Plan of Ground Floor at 1:100; A3 2: Section at 1:100; A3 3: Plan of your choice at 1:200 (FOR MIESS HOUSE YOU CAN FOR INSTANCE CUT THE SECOND PLAN AT VERY HIGH LEVEL, ALMOST CLOSE TO THE CEILING OR FLOOR); A3 4: Section at 1:200; B5 Notebook with notes on your weekly film, event, lecture, and building. Each A3 and notebook needs to have your name clearly written. It is important to note that precision, care of the work and the way it is submitted is essential (i.e. no rolled drawings). Careless work, partial submission and late submissions will not be considered. BE INDEPENDENT: SEARCH FOR EXTRA MATERIAL IN BOOKS, BE CREATIVE ON PICKING WHICH EXTRA PLAN AND SECTION YOU WANT TO SHOW. YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO THINK AND MAKE INDEPENDENTLY WITHOUT CONSTANT REASSURANCE FROM US! WE MEET ALL AT 11:30 in Rear Presentation Room From 9:30 to 11:30: all students are expected to discuss in group of 3 the text Junk Space by writing down and answering 5 questions for each student. Each student should have one a4 with 15 written questions and concise answers. 11.30: Reinterpreting Architecture” Part 2 tutors presentation. 12.30: Visionary Cities” Assessments & Prizes. From 13.00: FY Studio & Rear Presentation, Tutorial by Group. At 14.00: students that are taking part to Eliass workshop please attend the jury.
