Throwback Track of the Week Veracocha – Carte Blanche (original mix) Veracocha is an alias that veteran trance lovers should be familiar with and that newer trance lovers should become acquainted with. It was the alias used for the collaboration of Vincent de Moor and Ferry Corsten. Now you would have had to be listening to trance for some time to be familiar with Vincent de Moor (a personal favorite), but Ferry Corsten is a name new and old timers should be familiar with. It was this Dutch Duo that gifted the trance world with this timeless track. Carte Blanche was this duo’s only release, and this track was released in 1999 on the Positiva (UK), Deal (Netherlands) and Scorpio (France) labels. Carte Blanche is French for “Blank check” which is often used to mean “full power” or “complete freedom”. The name is beautifully suited to this track as it has the ability to take you on a completely freeing musical journey. This track runs 7 minutes and is guaranteed to keep your body moving along at a 140 BPM. Simply put… this track is trance and if you aren’t familiar with this track now is the time to fix that.
