THANK YOU to our wonderful donors! Thru your generosity we provided 80 packed backpacks to children in need! In addition to the stuffed backpacks, we also gave out a coupon from the HOPE Chest for 10 FREE items of clothes or shoes per child per family. That equals out to 1,470 items of clothes that the HOPE Chest will bless families with as they dress their kids for school. THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS! Together we can Help Other People Excel!!! We had such a big turnout for school supplies that even after providing 80 backpacks we still have a waiting list of over 60 more students who still NEED school supplies. Would you consider still helping with this need? If youd like to help with ongoing need for school supplies please bring the supplies or a cash donation to the HOPE Chest ASAP. Thank you!!! We had many very appreciative families! One father came with his 7 children. He had just recently been widowed and was a little overwhelmed with getting his kids ready for school. Our volunteers had packed the backpacks per grade and we were able to help him get a pack for each child. This was just one of the many, many stories of needs being met!
