THAT COLBERT VIDEO POSTED ALL OVER FACEBOOK - Ive read several of these reposts now. Of course Colbert sets out to make a point, serve his Catholic beliefs, and entertain. We all know this much (I hope). And for those who think Bart is some lightweight because he is agnostic - well, hes not. That said, for me, the absolute worst part of this whole FB exchange is the title of the video. Youll be cheering at the end? I dont think so. The editors at The Christian Post should be ashamed. Another FB post said that its so entertaining to see Colbert shred this Bible critic. Really? If Jesus is God and actually has something on offer that is unique and life-changing, why would any of his followers cheer at the end of this video? Why would the rejection of something as serious as what Jesus contends for be mere entertainment? Why would there ever be reason to celebrate another persons humiliation? Dont get me wrong, I love me some Colbert - hes working his angle - hit or miss, but mostly hit. I look forward to him in Lettermans seat.
