THE AMERICAN NIGHTMARE is a documentary on the origins of modern horror movies from 2000 which features George Romero, Wes Craven, Tom Savini, John Landis, and Tobe Hooper plus a host of horror visionaries. It features an extensive sequence about NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD and a bit about Tom Savinis experiences in Viet Nam. It gets pretty grim and depressing overall, but its still an interesting watch.
