THE ART OF FOOD AND WINE I recently had the opportunity to participate in an amazing dining experience. A friend of mine is a chef at a new restaurant in Carlsbad, CA called Perfect Pairings perfpair/. These guys know their wine and food. What makes this place unique is that they start with a selection of wine or beer and then create a menu that will showcase the characteristics of each drink. The food and wine were both incredible! As I said, these guys just opened their doors and are investing everything in an art they believe in. I know what its like to put my heart into art (music) I believe in. Without some major backing company, you do it for the sake of the art itself- one can only hope that others will appreciate what you do and support it. If you are in So Cal, please head over to Perfect Pairings and enjoy a fine dining experience with a friend or loved one. If you dont drink wine or beer, they have a tea menu as well. For those of you who are on the other side of the country, I just hope you are inspired to support the culinary artists wherever you are.
