THE BEST EVOLUTION FOR SLPP AND ULTIMATELY FOR SIERRA LEONE IS FOR MAADA BIO TO STEP DOWN FROM THE FLAG BEARER RACE (Please read first....) In the politics of the 21st century, we often hear the word CHANGE, throughout the world and whilst some had resulted in the anticipated transformation of individual lives and societies, many changes will never happen, or if they do, the outcome will be undesirable. Some events in human history are natural phenomena by design and sometimes beyond human control. Our abilities to accept these facts, make them our pasts, and ultimately give us the desires to move on to our destined assignments, making us human. Maada Bio is indeed an honorable man in certain respects in the history of Sierra Leone whether we like it or not, and will forever be admired and desired by many to be the leader of Sierra Leone. From his junior military services to the rank of the Brigadier General, to his appointment as the Head of State of Sierra Leone, and his most admired action of peaceful political power transfer to a democratically elected president of Sierra Leone, his legacy may not be easily wiped out. However, Maada lost the flag bearer position once, lost a presidential election once, failed to be a successful business man, viewed by the international community as an ex military ruler who is rumored to have collaborated with the rebels. There is also a wide spread speculations that his entourages are responsible for disruptions and humiliations within the SLPP. Even Maada himself is believed by many to be somehow responsible for the division within his party, which he wants to democratically represent in the next presidential elections. I may not be a politician, neither a fortune teller, but commonsense will tell me and many independent voters, and also many who believe in facts of the matter, that Maada Bio may no longer be the right candidate for the SLPP. It is also rational to say that, he will never win the presidential election in Sierra Leone even if he is to be the flag bearer candidate for the SLPP. I personally like and admire Maada Bio especially when I consider his military experience, which appears to be the type of leadership quality Sierra Leone may need in terms of discipline to eradicate some of the countrys issues, such as corruption and nepotism. But I simply believe that he cannot win the presidential race. He could be a good adviser and maybe a great influence to SLPP victory. Therefore for the sake of social equality, tranquility and harmony, oneness, and formidability within the SLPP to win the next presidential election, Brother Maada Bio should now in the name of CHANGE give others the CHANCE to also represent the SLPP. I know this request is hard for him having tasted the nectar of the delightful fruit at a young age, but if he really loves the party and his country, and also believes in democracy, he will not waste any more money and time but to first condemn his alleged outrageous supporters and then publicly declare his intention to withdraw from the SLPP flag bearer race. He could be a very good adviser. My deepest concern however is that, if it is not Maada Bio who may at least have an inch of chance, who really stand a mile of chance to lead the SLPP to victory. To this I have to continue my research about all those who has so far declared their intentions to be the definitive leader of the SLPP
