THE BIBLE, A MISSIONARY BOOK! Every book in the New Testament was written by a foreign missionary. Every epistle in the New Testament that was written to a church was written to a foreign-missionary church. Every letter in the New Testament that was written to an individual was written to a convert of a foreign missionary. The one book of prophecy in the New Testament was written to seven foreign missionary churches in Asia. The language of the books of the New Testament is the missionarys language. The map of the early Christian world is the tracing of the missionary journeys of the apostles. The problems which arose in the early church were largely questions of missionary procedure. Of the twelve apostles chosen by the Lord Jesus, every apostle except one became a missionary. THE GREAT COMMISSION> >>THE MARCHING ORDERS OF THE CHURCH! The call is personal. Acts 1:8 This article was written by a missionary that was often called A Modern Day Paul. He carried the Gospel into over 150 countries and organized over 1000 churches and more than 50 Bible schools. On one occasion, in northern Argentina, he won an entire Indian tribe to Christ of over 6,000 members. He authored 18 books and the words above are from his book, A Survey of World Missions. He was fluent in seven languages and I never knew of anyone in my lifetime that had a burden and passion for lost souls as this Servant of the Lord. He required 14, 16, and sometimes 18 hours each day to reach the lost. He still holds the record for the most miles traveled on Braniff and Eastern airlines.
