THE CLEAR PICTURE OF SHAME ABOUT JONATHANS GOVERNMENT BY FOLASOPHICAL. Last week, over 100,000 youths dared death all over Nigeria to fill 4556 Immigration job slots. These jobless youths are also penniless, but majority of them must have borrowed from friends and loved ones to “buy” a job they will never get. This government made 520 million Naira on the backs of jobless and penniless youths who just wanted to live. I suspect that none of those youths who showed up at all the centers would have ever got the job. I suspect that those job slots had already been filled by cronies of Immigration officials, girlfriends and boyfriends of the sugar-daddies in government, girlfriends and boyfriends of the honey-mammas in high-places, and those who must have been made to pay more than the required 1,000 Naira application fees to secure the assurance of getting hired. Why does our government continue to take from the poor it governs? Because the government knows the poor are only angry but believes they (the poor) have no strength and resources to fight back. Last month 70 children who couldn’t fight back were killed in their hostels while sleeping. Last week over 100 people who couldn’t fight back were killed in Katsina state. Money keeps missing everywhere, and all we do is keep hissing everywhere. If this is not a shame on this government, what then is?
