THE FIVE CROWNS Below are five crowns mentioned in the New Testament for the body of Christ and the conditions for obtaining them when we appear at the Bema Seat Judgement after the Rapture. This is when we receive our recognition and rewards by the Lord Jesus Christ for services we rendered to Him. Which ones are you looking forward to receiving? 1. THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS: This Crown is for those Believers who were ready & eagerly waiting for the Return of Jesus - all those who have Loved His Appearing. 2 Timothy 4:8 tells us about it: Finally, there is laid up for me the CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. 2. THE INCORRUPTIBLE CROWN: This is the Victors Crown - for those who Disciplined their Bodies, and brought their Bodies unto Subjection— and had Self-Control and refused to live their lives according to the dictates of the flesh. 1 Corinthians 9:25-27 speaks about it: Everyone who Competes for the Prize is temperate (DISCIPLINED) in ALL THINGS. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an IMPERISHABLE (INCORRUPTIBLE) CROWN. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I DISCIPLINE MY BODY AND BRING IT UNTO SUBJECTION, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. 3. THE CROWN OF LIFE: This is the Martyrs Crown - for those who were Faithful unto Death— those who Patiently endured Testings, Temptations, and Trials. James 1:12 tells us about it: God blesses those who Patiently endure Testing and Temptation. Afterward they will receive the CROWN OF LIFE that God has promised to those who love Him. Revelation 2:10 also speaks about it: Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison to Test you. You will Suffer for ten days. But if you remain Faithful even when facing death, I will give you the CROWN OF LIFE. 4. THE CROWN OF GLORY: The Elders Crown - This Crown is for those Leaders, Pastors, Elders, Teachers who were Godly Examples to the Flock of Believers that were entrusted and assigned to their care. Concerning it, 1 Peter 5:2-4 says: Care for the FLOCK God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly—not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. DONT LORD IT OVER THE PEOPLE ASSIGNED TO YOUR CARE, but LEAD them by your OWN GOOD EXAMPLE. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the CROWN OF GLORY that does not fade away. Warning: This crown is not for false pastors and other leaders in the church who abuse the flock by exploiting them and twisting Scriptures to say what they please. 5. THE CROWN OF REJOICING: This is the Soul Winners Crown - For Believers who OBEYED Jesus Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). 1 Thessalonians 2:19 tells us about it: For what is our hope, or joy, or CROWN OF REJOICING? Is it not even YOU in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His Coming? Even the Old Testament prophet Daniel prophesied that Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who LEAD MANY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS will shine like the stars forever. Daniel 12:3. Finally, these words from 2 Timothy 2:1-7 should sum up our response to this post as we prepare for the Rapture. SO YOU, my son, be strong (strengthened inwardly) in the grace (spiritual blessing) that is [to be found only] in Christ Jesus. And the [instructions] which you have heard from me along with many witnesses, transmit and entrust [as a deposit] to reliable and faithful men who will be competent and qualified to teach others also. Take [with me] your share of the hardships and suffering [which you are called to endure] as a good (first-class) soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of [civilian] life; his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him. And if anyone enters competitive games, he is not crowned unless he competes lawfully (fairly, according to the rules laid down). [It is] the hard-working farmer [who labors to produce] who must be the first partaker of the fruits. Think over these things I am saying [understand them and grasp their application], for the Lord will grant you full insight and understanding in everything.
