Have a volunteer read Hebrews 4:12. A. Ask class members to share a short thought on what the main idea of this text is. B. What is your understanding of what this passage means? C. Personal Application: In what ways has the power of God‚s Word changed your life or pierced your soul? Share. D. Case Study: One of your relatives states, „How does the Word pierce asunder even the thoughts and intents of the heart? Is this a power that works on the human mind so people see themselves honestly and clearly? Is the Word Jesus as God speaking to us, or does it refer to the Bible?‰ How would you respond to your relative? 2. Have a volunteer read John 5:39, John 16:14,15. A.
