THE HISTORY OF BITTAM GARAGE RAMPUR BUSHAHR, DISTT SHIMLA (HP).THE GARAGE HAS ENTERED IN 25th YEAR OF CONTINUOUS SERVICE: 19.08.1990: The Bittam Garage was established on 19.08.1990 at Chuhabag at the bank of river Satluj near to Rampur Bushahr. This workshop initially started with petty repairs of all type of light vehicles with a handful qualified staff. Al though there was a lot of limitations in running the workshop i.e. sufficient space, built up official block, spacious garage, lounge and canteen etc., even there was no telephonic facilities as well as adequate water and electric facility. Even than I with the help of industriousness and restless efforts of our workers we kept it live and progressive. 1994: After retirement of my father Late Shri K.C.Gupta from Electricity Department of Himachal Pradesh joined us and under his valued guidance the workshop kept on rising step by step. There was a paucity of spare parts at Rampur Bushahr where only one shop was functional who used to charge the cost of parts at his own at exorbitant cost. 1998: We came in the contact of Mahindra and Mahindra during 1998, who also served us the letter of intent (L.O.I), since then The M & M has been giving us the kind co-operation and good directives till date. We expect the same showers of kind blessings and good directions from M&M in future also. 2003:The Bittam garage was granted the commercial vehicles dealership in 2003. A lot of vehicles were sold during the period of 5 years to the needy customers from Bittam Garage which not only facilitated the life of mountainous people, also brought in lime light the Mahindra and Mahindra for its durable products and good services. 2007: Due to inadequate atmosphere and heavy loss in above business the dealership of commercial vehicles was resigned by us. 2011: We were granted the permission of servicing the personal vehicles of Mahindra products which is in progress and attracting the customers from neighboring districts and areas for good services given by Bittam garage till date. We pray the almighty God may progress and prosper the Bittam Garage many fold in future under the valued directions of Mahindra and Mahindra and may have the cordial co-operation and love of our precious customers. GODWILL SILVER JUBLEE will be celebrated in coming years with great enthusiasm being Gala Day of the garage.
