We have videos that would make you either vomit or buckle at your knees and weep. It takes at least several minutes for a dog to even lose consciousness. in Africa it is considered “normal” for fully conscious dogs to have their hind legs stepped on, breaking their leg bones, as their throat is slowly sawn back and forth for several minutes by a butcher using a huge blunt sword, known as a panga (sword machete.) This is everyday practice in Nigerian dog slaughterhouses.
