THE LIVING BLOOD SPEAKS The first man to taste on earth is Adam, the first man to taste life of the womb on earth is Cain and the first man to taste death on earth is Abel. Abel was the first righteous man to die on earth, therefore his blood is the standard for measuring the blood of all the righteous men apart from Christ. The only blood that has beaten the records of the blood of Abel is the blood of Jesus: As it is written, “And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.” (Hebrews 12:24) However, the blood of Abel speaks even though he was dead; the blood of all believers speaks even though they were dead, because it is the faith that causes the blood to speak. To say a believer’s blood cannot speak when the believer dies on earth is to say faith does not work for the believer after death. The just shall live by faith: Meaning where the physical life of the believer comes to an end here on earth, the life of faith keeps the believer living on – Therefore, by faith, a believer in Christ have more life in his death than in his birth (Ecclesiastes 7:1): As it is written, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20). Again, the blood of Abel speaks to show that faith is life and lives in every believer even in death: As it is written, “…and by faith Abel being dead yet speaks.” (Hebrews 11:4) The blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of Abel (all the saints), but yet what the blood of Abel (all the saints) is speaking is also important in connection with what the blood of Jesus is speaking. Let me come down for purpose of understanding: Blood simply means life of flesh (Leviticus 17:14), because blood carries the life of the body (Leviticus 17:11). The life of every animal is the blood of the animal and the blood of the animal is the life of the animal, and whoever eats the blood of animal shall be cut off from God (Genesis 9:4): As it is written, “Only be sure that you do not eat the blood: for the blood is the life; and you may not eat the life with the flesh.” (Deuteronomy 12:23). However, the blood of Jesus Christ is the life of his flesh which is the life of God himself: One can drink of his blood and never be cut off from God, because he shares the same life of God (John 6:56). I am showing you this so that you will know, ‘the blood of Jesus simply means the life of Jesus’: Invoking the blood of Jesus Christ is simply invoking the life of Jesus Christ. Blood has nothing else other than the life which it carries. So when we say the blood of every saint speaks in connection with the blood of Jesus, we are simply saying that the life of every saint speaks in connection with the life of Jesus Christ. We must listen to what their lives are saying in the scriptures and testimony of Jesus. They overcame him by the blood of Lamb (blood of Jesus) and the by the words of their testimony (what the blood or lives of the saints are speaking): and they loved not their lives unto the death (Revelation 12:11). The blood of Jesus Christ is found in the heaven (Hebrews 12:23-24), but none of the blood of the saints is found in the kingdom of heaven because flesh and blood shall not inherit the kingdom of heaven. The blood of the saints are not found in the kingdom of heaven, but what the blood of the saints are speaking are in the kingdom of heaven because they are living epistles which God is writing in heaven: As it is written, “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.” (Philippians 3:20-21)
