THE LORD LIFTS THE LOWLY AND THE LONELY Psalm 119:25&28, My soul - TopicsExpress

THE LORD LIFTS THE LOWLY AND THE LONELY Psalm 119:25&28, My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken Thou me according to Thy Word. My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen Thou me according unto Thy Word. The symbol of dust in Scripture often represents death, defeat, dejection, and depression. Its a symbol of the curse of sin (Gen. 3:17). In this verse it pertains to lowliness and humiliation before God in recognition of the need for His forgiveness, restoration, and revival. We need to be quickened, enlivened, electrified, and energized by the reviving power of Gods Holy Spirit! We may feel emotionally and spiritually low.....real low.....lower than a snakes belly in a wagon rut. Thats low!! But no matter how low we may go, God is able to lift us up....way up....so far up that He raiseth up the poop out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory (1 Sam. 2:8) HALLELUJAH!! Even if your soul is melting, poured out in grief, sorrow, and weeping: God is able to wipe away those tears of loneliness and isolation. You may feel alone but if you are truly saved you are NEVER alone! Jesus says to you this morning, Lo, I AM with you ALWAY (Matt. 28:20). For He hath said, I will NEVER leave thee, nor forsake thee. When the Lord says never He means never!! He is with you now, dear Christian, to lift you up, cheer you heart, elevate your spirit, and revive your soul. CALL OUT TO HIM NOW IN REPENTANCE AND FAITH AND DONT BE LOWLY OR LONELY ANYMORE!! Let Him quicken you right now......in Jesus restoring name. AMEN
