THE MALE EGO. One day about twenty years ago i was driving back from court with joyce stewart and we were traveling on south fork road. We were talking and i didnt notice there were chickens in the road. It was too late to get stopped. There was no berm and a pickup was coming the opposite direction. I slammed on the brakes and the chickens heard the noise and got out of the road just in time but not the rooster. He cocked his head back and kept on struting down the road and i hit him feathers went flying and he went flying over my roof to his death. This sort of reminds me of how we guys can be sometimes....he had a fair chance to get out of the road.lol.
