~THE MANIFESTATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:~Pt.4 The Ninefold Fruit of The Spirit: This is lesson 4. on The Fruit of The Spirit and we will continue with 6. Goodness: from the Gr. (agathosune) meaning, the state of being good, kind, virtuous, benevolent, generous, and God-like in life and conduct. This is definitely a virtue needed to TRULY represent The Heart of God, if we, especially as ministers, desire to lead sinners to Christ. It is The Virtue and Beneficence of God whereby He leads sinners to REPENTANCE, (Rom.2:4; 5:6-8) God is GOOD! Consider this: we were in the past darkness, but NOW, we are LIGHT in union with The Lord: Walk as CHILDREN of LIGHT; because The Fruit of The Spirit is in union with ALL GOODNESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS and TRUTH; proving what is acceptable unto The Lord (Rom.5:8-10). 7. Faith: from the Gr. (pistis) meaning, the living, divinely implanted, acquired, and created principle of inward and wholehearted CONFIDENCE, ASSURANCE, TRUST, and RELIANCE in GOD and ALL THAT HE SAYS. The word believeth denotes the act and process of faith and is the (present tense) of the Gr. (pistis) FAITH and must be CONTUNUED IN, in order to get its BENEFITS. According to (Acts 14:22) Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to CONTINUE IN THE FAITH, and that we must through much tribulation ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM of GOD. 8. Meekness: from the Gr. (praotes) meaning, the disposition to BE gentle, kind, indulgent, even balanced in tempers and passions, and patient in suffering injuries without feeling a spirit of revenge. According to (Ps.25:8-11) David s prayer to JEHOVAH was; Good and upright is The Lord: therefore will He teach sinners in The Way. The MEEK will He guide in judgment: and the MEEK will He teach His Way. V.10. All The Paths of The Lord are MERCY and TRUTH unto such as KEEP HIS COVENANT and HIS TESTIMONIES. For Your Names sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity; because it is great. Salvation in both testaments has been on the same basis (Ps. 51; Rom. 10:9-10; Eph.2:8-9; Heb.4:1; 1Jn.1:9). TO BE CONTINUED:
