I THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND TOLERANCE. “I regret the death of Myles Munroe, an Evangelist and Deep Teacher of The Word. We cannot deny our grief. Without any doubt, Myles Munroe was a great Man of God. His ministry impacted several ministries and generations. He will be greatly remembered and sorely missed by the Body of Christ. Nothing happens without God allowing it, though God was not behind this or any other plane crash. God will still ensure everything works together for good. The most important thing is for us to make heaven. God, who is sovereign and knows everything, has allowed it to happen. He knows best and why. He will not allow it if He cannot use it. We have no choice but to surrender to the supreme wisdom of God and trust Him fully at all times and in all situations.” — Pastor E. A. Adeboye, General Overseer, The Redeemed Christian Church of God. “It is with deep shock and sadness that we have learned of the untimely passing away of our friends, Dr. Myles Munroe, his wife, Ruth Ann and seven others travelling with them. Our hearts go out to the Bahamas Faith Ministries International Fellowship family and those around the globe impacted by Dr. Munroe’s love of God’s Word, purpose-centred teaching, and passion for leaders. Our hearts are broken. We weep with all Christendom at this unimaginable loss. There are few biblical clinicians whose view of ministry wasn’t enriched in some way by this tremendous bible scholar. His voice changed the way we viewed the Kingdom! Dr. and Mrs. Myles Munroe and associates, gone but not forgotten!” — Bishop T. D. Jakes, The Potter’s House, USA. “On behalf of my wife, our leadership staff and our ministry, please accept our sincere and heart-felt condolences on the tragic death of Dr. Munroe, his wife Ruth as well as all the others who lost their lives. Dr. Munroe spoke at our church in Norwalk during a very difficult time in our ministry. At that time we were a very small church, yet he took the time to come and encourage our pastors and congregation. His faithfulness to the Lord and his love for ministry and the people of God will continue to be alive in our church and in our lives. Our prayers are with the family and his congregation as they go through this difficult time.” — Pastor Richard Salazar, Senior Pastor, New Harvest Christian Fellowship, Norwalk, Ca “I was very saddened of the news of this tragic accident. My heartfelt prayers go out to all the families and the ministry. May God give you supernatural strength to make it through this season. Dr. Munroe was my Leadership Mentor; therefore everyday for the past few weeks I have listened to at least 2 of his messages on Character and/or Leadership. His messages inspired me to spend time discovering my exact purpose as a leader and move in that direction quickly. One of the most propound statements I heard him say was, become the leader God called you to be, dont die just as a follower or a copy of someone else when God made you an original. Because of his leadership and his assignment to develop leaders for the future, I am confident that his work will continue. Although Ive cried and continue to have tears in my eyes, this event has indeed affected me in a positive way because the words and wisdom of Dr. Munroe continue to play over and over in my mind which has rebirth the urgency and importance of living a purposeful life. I praise God that even in his death theres life. Lots of Love” — Min. Williams El Elyon, International Church, Atlanta, GA “Myles and I called ourselves ‘twin brothers’ Myles, my twin brother is gone up to glory Ruth, his partner in life and death has gone to eternal rest Faith and I miss you both! Our moments together on this side of the Jordan were most memorable. We stayed together on several occasions under the same roof We lodged in same hotels time and again; we shared the platform together preaching the good news of the Kingdom over the years. Our friendship of over 24 years was a most enriching and adventurous one, Our partnership in ministry was also a most profitable and rejuvenating one. Myles, my twin brother A bundle of inspiration A man of spiritual depth and insight A leader of leaders and teacher of teachers Ruth, a bundle of joy and divine radiance Your smiles were ever contagious, You exhumed gentleness, love and care like a fountain You were indeed a priceless jewel! The two of you were swifter than eagles You literally traversed the globe As you taught nations the principles of the Kingdom You were both as strong as the unicorn, Energetic, untiring, never relenting, purposeful and focused I could still remember, Myles and I took all the inaugural induction lectures for the pioneer Faculty and Staff of Covenant University in August 2002. All of Myles’ meetings on our church platform were ever inspiring and impactful. The Living Faith Church Worldwide really misses you! Good night Myles, my twin brother! Good night Ruth, his partner in life and in death.” – Bishop David Oyedepo, Presiding Bishop, Living Faith Church Worldwide (aka Winners’ Chapel) “As the CEO of Caribbean Gospel Radio FM in Atlanta,GA, USA, I write on behalf of our Radio Family. Dr. Myles and his wife Ruth have touched so many lives through his teachings on our Radio Station. As a family, we are all saddened by this tragic and sudden loss. I sit here listening to his message entitled ‘MAXIMIZING YOUR FAITH’ (preached 2012) and I realize he speaks as to his death. In this message, he tells the men of BFMI how he wants them to dress for his funeral and what he wants the church to do. This message is what is giving me comfort as I was one of many asking God why?. Our listeners, after hearing this message now say they are comforted as well. In this message, Dr. Myles Munroe asks that we DO NOT mourn his passing but to celebrate him. He asks that no black be worn at his funeral but vibrant colors... Lets honor his request as we celebrate this awesome Man of God. Thanks be to God for this message (preached by Dr. Munroe) I can rest assured that all is well with his soul. He ends his message by saying YOU ARE GOING TO SHOOT THROUGH THE PAIN! RIP Dr Myles Munroe and Dr. Ruth Munroe. Gone, but not forgotten… you are always in our hearts. caribbeangospelradiofm Salutes you! — Dr. Monica Dennis-Hawthorne, Caribbean Gospel Radio FM — Atlanta, GA “Dr. Myles Munroe, educator, lecturer, and scholar had a profound impact on my life and provided great inspiration in the completion of my doctoral work in education. His work on “Personal Potential,” was required reading for that School year of 2012/2013. He will always be remember as a great mentor, who Pastored a church that had only one divorce, mended countless relationships, authored 69 books, several best sellers, consulted over thirty Governments, lecturer at Harvard University, father and devoted husband. A model of Holy living, a diplomat, master administrator and mentor to thousands. Taking precious moments from his busy schedule, to encourage graduating students, administration and faculty of Philadelphia Mennonite High School. “Dr. Myles”, a great pillar in the faith, you will never be forgotten, and your work will live on, until our Lord’s return. My prayers are with you all.” — Elder Douglas A. Powell “Words can not express of the sudden dispatcher of Dr Myles, his wife and the team. My prayers go to his children and the families of those who departed and the church in Bahamas. Here in Kenya we are praying for you. DR Myles was in Kenya few weeks ago and inspired the nation and the church with his teachings. His legacy and teachings will continue to affect many generations to come.” — Pastor Muriuki Thuita, Kenya “Im yet to recover from the shock of the news of the passing on of Dr Myles and Mrs Ruth Munroe. Dr Myles was with us in Ibadan, Nigeria last June and Im still feeling the impact of that meeting. Only eternity can fully reveal the unexplainable global impact of Dr Myles. They have left an indelible mark behind that generations unborn will still see. Adieu the Apostle of PURPOSE and LEADERSHIP!” — Pastor Femi Komolafe Founder, Youth Age Transformation, Ibadan, Nigeria. I, like most dwellers of our planet woke up to this crude and shocking news that Dr. Myles Munroe and his beloved wife Ruth have left this earth in a tragic plane crash. Dr. Myles and his wife have impacted my life, ministry and our whole Russian speaking world in such a way that it is difficult to imagine. Dr. Myles Munroe was not just a Pastor, Teacher and Minister of the gospel. Dr. Myles was first of all a Man, he was a real man, a complete person, a genuine human being. He is a man that genuinely worked hard to transform himself so much that he reflects the image and likeness of God. Myles Munroe makes you feel like you are his peer. He makes you feel welcome; he does everything to make you feel at home. I feel I should share the story of the first time I met him in 1999. He his wife, Ruth came to our ministry here at the Embassy of God, Kiev, Ukraine, for the very first time. However, a few days before his arrival I was down with chickenpox. Of course, with that kind of infection I needed to be isolated. But Dr. Myles insisted on seeing me and when he came into the room I asked him to stay away from me since I did not want him to get infected, but instead of that, he
