THE MESSENGER OF GOD IS LIKE A FARMER WITH THE WORD OF GOD, SOWING SEEDS; WHO IS RECEPTIVE THOUGH?!! 18 “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” Matthew 13:18-23 (NIVUK) A lack of understanding of the spoken word of God heard by someone is as though the seeds sown in that persons heart fell on the path. The evil one snatches it away even as birds of the air eat the seeds all up! You need to be prepared (with roots) for the Word of God to be rooted in you; otherwise, youre like rocky hard in your heart and the word heard gives you temporary joy, but trouble and persecution cause you to be quickly discouraged and give it all up! The Word of God (seeds) that fall on the thorny heart is unfruitful due to the worries of life and deceitfulness of wealth! The one who hears the Word of God and it is fruitful for him is the one that hears and understands, applies it correctly and for him it yields a bountiful harvest! The Word of God that you hear; what do you do with the Word of God? Is the Word of God working in your life? May God Help us all to let the Word of God bear a bountiful harvest in our lives in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (21) You have heard that it was said to those of old, You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment. (22) But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, Raca! shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, You fool! shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:21-22 Never mind do not murder; just being angry with your brethren could earn you Gods judgment, especially without a cause! Even when there is a cause, in your anger do not sin! Simply calling your brother a fool endangers you towards hell fire!
