Below we have put together some information for you about our suppliers as we feel it is important for our customers to know where the food we are preparing comes from. All our meat produce is from Tavern Tasty Meats in Swaffield, they are the only accredited rare breed butchers in Norfolk. The business was started by Roger Human in 1991 with Andrew Hudson becoming a business partner in 2001. Andrew is a local farmer and supplies the majority of the pork and lamb to the shop. Together Roger and Andrew are both very passionate about the quality of meat that can be produced from traditional breeds. All our fresh fruit and vegetable produce is supplied by Mr Fruity who is based in Norwich and has been supplying to the East Anglian Catering Industry for the last 30 years. We have a daily delivery of fruit and vegetable which are all sourced locally where possible. All our seafood produce is supplied by M&J seafood. One of the leading supplies of seafood in the UK. At M&J seafood they are passionate about fish, local service and sustainability. We buy in fresh fish where ever possible which can all be traced back to the exact time and place of which is was caught. All our dairy and sundries produce comes from South Lincs food service. Based in Lincolnshire and with history in the local area since the 1940s South Lincs Food services cover Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, and most parts of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Bedfordshire. South Lincs operate a modern fleet of purpose built, multi temperature vehicles ensuring their orders reaches us in perfect condition.
