THE NORTH IN THE 60s,70s AND 80s. I remember growing up in the North in the 70s and 80s, then Muslims and Christian were one family doing things together, we eat from each other plate of food, we play together, we sleep together,we also celebrates festive period together, Muslims do go to churchs during Christmas and Christians join Muslim in celebrating Sallah which made us one united and undivided family because we shared the same idea and opinion without disagreeing to each other we were living in peace , in many Christians homes you will see Muslims cohabiting there also so the other. But from nowhere with the coming of democracy or civilian rule, politician have broken that happy moment we used to enjoyed but rather the brought disunity and division among christians and Muslims which brought about divide and rule system in the entire North, and today unfortunately, we are killing ourselves in the name of politics and Religion decreasing our population that made us to be the majority in Nigeria.I wish to say that if only my people from the North will understand and embrace peace and unity as we used to before,with our population and might in this country, we will hold the four aces of this country and Nigeria will be a better place to live
