THE POWER OF CONSISTENCY! By Omotosho Tope Joseph Like·Comment The proof of your determination is the steps you take to accomplish your desires. Determination is of the heart, it is action that actualizes the dream and brings about accomplishment. But in your action or step taking you must be consistent! Consistency means to start from scratch and keep scratching without stopping until you are fulfilled. What you are not consistent at doing can never move forward. It takes consistency to build up momentum until there is a sudden breakthrough. That is why when ever there is a break in consistency, the momentum dies down and you may have to start afresh. Making a mark in life calls for the marking of your feet on the ground. Consistency is the secret of impact. Once you start taking steps towards your goal, stay at it, never you shift your ground until you see your desires manifest. Stay in the game until you are declared the winner! Stay on, because your crown is waiting for you. Consistency means emphasizing and re-emphasizing your efforts on a daily basis. Your business must enjoy daily input from you and with time you will begin to see daily output. Also, you must be steadfast. The opposite of steadfastness is instability. There are people who go round and round in circles because of instability. Instability affects productivity. Until you become stable you cannot excel. I have seen many on the streets walking about aimlessly, not knowing where they are going to or where they are coming from. They jump about from one place to another, from one profession to the other, changing businesses daily and having nothing to show for life. Yet I have seen others who stay on with what they are sent or what they have discovered to be their purpose in life and their light begins to break forth from that spot. The truth is that every unstable man lacks faith in God, in himself and in the work of his hands. If you believe in what you are doing, you will stay at it and give it what it takes no matter the opposition you encounter. Double mindedness is the root of instability. A stable man is a man of great faith. He never counts what he has laid down in the pursuit of his purpose, because he is wholly and doubtlessly assured that the future is guaranteed and that he will soon get to his destination. You have to be stable in all your pursuits in life, because if you plant a seed and you keep uprooting and shifting it from one place to the other, it will die! Don?t destroy your destiny! Be stable! There is no career that is not capable of making one rich. Wealth is not determined by any particular career or profession, it is a function of your connection with God and the covenant principles that you operate. Meditate on these: Gen. 49:4a, James 1:8
