THE PRESENT CONTEXT The heavens have opened up and the rains keep falling/The roads are horribly waterlogged leaving us with the stumbling/The rupee obeys the laws of gravity and keep falling, falling, falling/The stocks and shares in a cascade are tumbling/The economy is in a state of flux, the wise men are yelling/It is time to coin new terms, but economists are fumbling/There is no time to watch the play of the birds and bees/No moment to spare for relaxation and drinking life to the lees/There is simply too much materialism and greed and the end is nigh/No time, alas, to build an ark, only time to sigh
